Congratulations to the Canadian men’s hockey team!  After an outstanding and well-played game Sidney Crosby, Canada’s hockey superstar, scored the final goal seven minutes into overtime.  Both teams were there to win.  The gameplay was fast, and sharp.  The teamwork was superb.  At moments it felt like they were dancing rather than playing hockey.  The best though were the fans.  I think that it’s clear that across Canada and even into places like Kandahar Afghanistan, 33 million people cheered the men to gold!  The hockey game was the perfect crescendo to the 17 days of Olympic glory.  I wish them all the best and congratulate the coaches who led them to that final game.  It was the perfect end for the 2010 Vancouver Olympic games.

However I’m going to go enjoy some time in meatspace.
